About us

Marie is a trained Dispensing Optician and Eyewear Stylist. She was manager of a city centre practice in Sheffield, and worked as a locum Dispensing Optician manager in numerous practices across the north of England, including Manchester and Leeds. After a career break, she has now returned to the profession, most recently as a locum Dispensing Optician at a Scottish eyewear boutique.

In her own words…

“I’m really happy to have had the opportunity to open a Dispensing Opticians and Eyewear Styling Studio in Ledbury, my hometown for the past twenty-two years. I’m also excited to be offering a tailored and personal service to the spectacle wearers of Ledbury.

Recognising that glasses are essentially a luxury accessory, there has been a recent shift in the world of prescription eyewear towards boutique styling practices like this one, where the emphasis is on finding a frame that totally suits and complements the colouring and face shape of individual clients, while of course ensuring high standards in terms of fit and vision.

My goal is to take the stress out of choosing glasses, and to help you find glasses you will truly love wearing, and that you feel will reflect your personality. And for us to have a relaxed and fun time in the process!”
